What do we propose?
Organic Load Control (UV254)
How do we do it?
On-line analyzer that continuously measures UV absorption at a wavelength of 254 nm, a surrogate parameter for organic carbon trend.
Where do we do it?
Untreated water/intake, coagulation/flocculation/sedimentation, filtration, UV disinfection, storage and distribution
What do we get?
It saves chemicals, energy and time by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of (individual) treatment steps such as coagulation/flocculation, activated carbon adsorption and UV disinfection.
