The compact, high-performance LaserGas\u2122 II OP consists of a transceiver and a retroreflector unit.<\/p>\n<p>The retroreflective unit consists of one or more cubic corners in a weatherproof enclosure, which reflects the light back to the receiver. The transmitter collects the returned light for the calculation of the gas concentration.<\/p>\n<p>The instrument is based on the absorption of infrared radiation by gas molecules.
